Please read these Terms of Use ("Agreement") carefully before using BooksCommander.com ("the Service"). By accessing or using this Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Access & Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Service to facilitate interactions between ChatGPT and your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. You may not resell, reverse engineer, or sublicense any part of the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts. You agree to use the Service only in compliance with all applicable laws and these terms.

3. Service Description

BooksCommander.com acts as a bridge between ChatGPT and your QuickBooks Online account. We do not offer accounting advice or perform accounting functions. Users are responsible for reviewing and approving all actions generated by ChatGPT before they are executed.

4. Third-Party Dependencies

Our Service integrates with third-party platforms, including OpenAI (ChatGPT), Intuit (QBO), Stripe, Firebase, and Vercel. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these platforms. Your use of their services is governed by their respective terms.

5. User Responsibilities

  • •Use the Service only for lawful business purposes.
  • •Do not reverse engineer, duplicate, resell, or rebrand the Service.
  • •Do not circumvent usage limits or billing systems.
  • •You must review all ChatGPT-generated actions before confirming them to QBO.

6. Data & Privacy

We collect your QBO tokens, realm ID, email, and billing information. We do not access your accounting data or ChatGPT conversation history. Authentication and session-related data are stored securely and temporarily.

7. Pricing & Free Tier

Users receive 50 free actions per month. Paid plans include: $5/month or $36/year for 1,000 actions, and $10/month or $84/year for unlimited actions. All payments are final. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.

8. Availability & Support

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure. No uptime guarantee is provided. Support is available via email at support@bookscommander.com.

9. Termination

Access may be terminated without notice if you violate these terms, attempt to reverse engineer the Service, abuse billing, or misuse the platform in any way.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BooksCommander.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the fees paid in the three months prior to a claim.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied. No guarantee is made that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of California. All disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration in Santa Clara County. Users waive rights to join class-action lawsuits.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Books Commander is an independent software application that integrates with QuickBooks Online via authorized API connections and utilizes OpenAI's ChatGPT technology to facilitate user interactions. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit Inc. (the maker of QuickBooks Online) or by OpenAI (the creator of ChatGPT). All trademarks and service marks remain the property of their respective owners.
